The energy-saving hot air dryer hopper for plastic is a specialized device that dries plastic granules raw materials while storing them, with its core advantage being low energy consumption under the premise of ensuring drying efficiency.

Core Working Principle of energy saving dryer hopper
It integrates "storage" and "drying" into one, and its energy-saving design mainly relies on two key links:

Hot air circulation utilization: The hot air after heat exchange with wet plastic is not directly discharged. Instead, it is filtered, dehumidified (optional), and then reheated by a heater. This reduces the heat required to heat cold air from scratch, saving 30%-50% of energy compared to traditional non-circulating dryers.

Targeted heating for materials: The hopper adopts a layered heating structure. The hot air is sent to the middle and lower parts of the hopper (where materials are concentrated) first, avoiding invalid heating of the upper empty space. At the same time, the hopper wall is equipped with thermal insulation layers to reduce heat loss to the surrounding environment.
