How to choose a mold temperature controller?
The mold temperature machine is also called the mold temperature control machine. Mold temperature machines are widely used in plastic molding, die casting, rubber tires, rollers, chemical reactors, bonding, banburying and other industries. The mold temperature machine is generally divided into a water temperature control machine and an oil temperature control machine, and the temperature control accuracy can reach ±0.1 °C.
Using oil medium:
suitable for long-term operation, good constant temperature effect, suitable for small and thin products without burrs. The heat transfer coefficient of oil is small. If the hot kerosene is used improperly, the heater will be burned out in serious cases, and the hot kerosene needs to be replaced regularly. If the temperature is controlled above 150 °C, oil type is recommended.
Using water medium:
the heat transfer of water is fast, the cooling effect is good, and it will not pollute the mold. However, the boiling point of water is low, and depending on the composition of the water, it may scale or corrode, causing problems such as excessive pressure loss and reduced heat exchange efficiency between the mold and the fluid. If the temperature is controlled below 150°C, it is recommended to use a water type.
